Matt Bode

South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation Board of Directors

Matt is Vice President of Procurement, Producer Relations for DemKota. Matt earned a bachelor's degree in both Animal Science and Ag Business from SDSU where he competed on the Livestock and Meats judging teams.

Matt grew up on a diversified livestock and farming operation at Faulkton, where he purchased his first replacement heifers at the age of eleven. Today, Matt and Darchelle run a commercial cow herd at their home ranch. They also farm and ranch with Matt’s brothers.

Matt and his wife Darchelle reside north of Mitchell. They have two children: Blakely and Austin.
